This page explains the organization-level settings area and what kind of controls belong there.
When to use it
Use this when:
- you need to change the organization name
- you are trying to understand the difference between workspace settings and personal settings
- you want to restore or hide the dashboard hero for your own user

Update this when the displayed organization identity needs to change across the workspace.
Dashboard hero preference
Use this toggle to control whether the top dashboard hero is shown for your user account.
Why these settings live here
This area is meant for stable workspace-facing controls. It is intentionally smaller than the rest of Settings because it should not turn into a general dumping ground for unrelated toggles.
What to expect
The dashboard hero preference is per user, not organization-wide.
Common mistakes
- expecting the organization tab to contain every setting in the system
