Downloading Reports

Where the report download appears and what report readiness means on the review page.

What this page is for

This page explains when a report is actually ready and where to download it from.

When to use it

Use it when:

  • the review is complete but the report is not yet downloadable
  • you are not sure whether report generation is finished
  • you want to confirm the handoff point for the final document

How report download works

The report becomes downloadable only when:

  • the review has completed
  • the report generation step has completed

Once that happens, the main Download Report action appears on the review page.

Why this works the way it does

The report has its own lifecycle after the scan. That is why a completed review does not always mean the report is ready immediately.

What to expect

The report tab will show whether the output is:

  • queued
  • generating
  • ready

If it is still generating, wait there rather than assuming the workflow failed.

Common mistakes

  • assuming “review complete” and “report ready” are the same thing
  • downloading a report without first checking the review scope
  • treating a short report-generation delay as an error
