Notification Preferences

How the personal notification and dashboard preferences work for your user account.

What this page is for

This page explains the personal preference toggles in Settings and why they apply to your user account rather than the whole organization.

When to use it

Use it when:

  • you want to receive report-ready emails
  • you no longer want inbox notifications for reviews you queue
  • you want to show or hide the dashboard next step card for yourself
  • you are trying to understand why another user did or did not get notified

How these settings work

Report ready emails

This controls whether you receive report-ready emails for reviews you queue.

It does not change notifications for the rest of the organization.

The report-ready email includes the generated report list, consolidated finding counts, pillar scores, and download links for the reports that were produced.

Next step card

This controls whether the dashboard next step card is shown for your user account.

It is useful if you want a cleaner dashboard once you already know the normal workflow.

Why these settings exist

Reviews can take long enough that users often leave the app and return later. The email acts as a re-entry point into the workflow.

The next step card preference exists for the same reason: some users want guidance, while others want a quieter dashboard once they are familiar with the product.

What to expect

These settings are personal, not organization-wide. Changing them does not affect anyone else in the workspace.

Common mistakes

  • assuming the toggle controls emails for the whole organization
  • expecting a report email for a review queued by another user
  • treating a missing email as proof that the review itself failed
  • assuming the next step card toggle changes the dashboard for the whole team
