Notification Preferences
How the report-ready email preference works and when to leave it on or turn it off.
What this page is for
This page explains the report-ready email toggle and why it is a personal setting rather than an organization-wide one.
When to use it
Use it when:
- you want to receive report-ready emails
- you no longer want inbox notifications for reviews you queue
- you are trying to understand why another user did or did not get notified
How it works
This preference controls whether you receive report-ready emails for reviews you queue.
It does not change notifications for the rest of the organization.
Why it exists
Reviews can take long enough that users often leave the app and return later. The email acts as a re-entry point into the workflow.
What to expect
The setting is enabled by default for new users. Turn it off if it is creating noise for your working style.
Common mistakes
- assuming the toggle controls emails for the whole organization
- expecting a report email for a review queued by another user
- treating a missing email as proof that the review itself failed
